A Cornell alumni contacted me the other day saying Cornell wanted him to meet with me. I met with him today and it went really, really well. I was wondering how much this will influence my acceptance or not?

little to none, unless you did horrible and vomited on your interviewer, of if you recently cured cancer, didnt put it on your app, and told your interviewer.

The Alumni "interview" is really a session for you to gain a better understanding of Cornell. Tboonepickens is correct, so you should bring extra napkins just in case ;)

He or She will be writing a recommendation, probably just a comment about what happened at the interview and may help you by adding more things onto your application. But in the end, it may not even help or hurt you, unless the interviewer caught you lying about something, then you are screwed.
(They don't read your application, just basic info like college you are applying to, so most likely you don't have to exemplify what is on your essay).

At the margins, it can help in that Cornell will learn something about you that it previously may not have , but not having one doesn't hurt you.
