How much is the the difference between your expected score and the real score?

HI people! The Oct. score is coming soon and wish everybody good luck with 2400!!

How is the difference between your expected score and the real score?
Is it big? If so, what do you think is the problem? Nervous?

I will tell you about it on Thursday haha.

I’ll wait then! GOOD LUCK!

On my first SAT, I convinced myself that I got a 2000 easy; I ended up with a 1690!

However, the good news is that my SAT score is now 2030. I took the October SAT and I am expecting anywhere between 2100 and 2200.

First SAT I took:
Expected: 2000
Got: 2150

Yay.

Up…up…so how’s everybody??

predicted - 2350
got - 2310

so 40 points

Expected: 2150
Achieved: 2190

Really happy, but 10 more points would’ve sealed the deal xD

Sitting:

Expected-1800
Got-1780

Superscored:

Expected-1800
Got-1840

So I am a happy person considering my number 1 school superscores.

I hoped I would be somewhere around 2000 (600/800/600), but I did much better on the “english” parts then I expected - CR 690, M 750, W 680.
How good is 690 from Critical reading for an international student? Would it give me a chance on a high scholarship? btwOtherwise I have 800 from Math II and 770 from WH. Very solid grades, and good evaluation from one teacher.

Cermi, if English isn’t your first language then a 690 is excellent and you don’t need to take the TOEFL. If it is your first language then it’s still a great score! Congrats.

Not too sure about the scholarships bit xD

I was hoping for 2100 but got 2200. I am so grateful for my score; I expected around 2050.

Second language, I’ve been learning it since I got to gymnazium (sort of high school, it has 8 years). In all practise tests I was below 600, maybe because I couldnt focus for such a long time. But after I took the real test I was quite confident that I would get 600+. I never even dreamed I could get 690, I always thought that Chinese and other Asians are the only foreign students who get around 700 and more…
In the end I could save quite a lot of money - I gotta write to the colleges and ask them, if they will waive TOEFL requirement for me. I hope they will…

Congratz roylikeswaffes! I know how you’re feeling, I’m almost in the same situation…

Expected: Between 2000-2100
Got: 2170!!!
wow…in shock, seriously!

Expected: 2250
Got: 2360!

I’m really surprised/happy/relieved!

expected/wanted: 2300
got: 2220.

:(:(

I estimated my score to be about 2020 but got 2010. A 2100 would have been nice though.

Both times I took I estimated 2000, but received 1770 and 1920 respectively. Not too far off the second time.

Expected: 2050-2100
Got: 2010 :(
