How Much is Too Much?

Hey everyone! This is my first time to post on College Confidential, so I'm sorry if my question doesn't fit this site! As soon as school starts back up again I will be a high school senior.-Can I hear a hoot hoot for the class of 2014? Now as a senior I have been starting to think more seriously about impressing colleges, and more importantly people and businesses who will help me pay for them. I have a hard time saying no, so I was afraid that I may have a little too much on my plate. I was wondering if you could tell me what you thought.
*I know that the difficulty of the class differs from person to person based on teachers and personal strengths, but just a comment on the overall complexity of the course would be great. (: *
1. band
2. government/ world history (these courses are both a semester a piece)
3. English composition (no, unfortunately not the college level one)
4. a.p. chemistry
5.ACT prep
6. a.p. psychology
7. honor band/ track
college Algebra (taking it online. fall)
college American federal government (taking it online. Dec-Jan)
college English Composition 1 (taking it online. spring)
a.p. United States history (self study)

So, let me know what you think. And any helpful books or sites for these subjects would be much appreciated.
thanks so much,

Get barrons for psych and direct hits in a flash for apush. I am not sure what book would be good for chem so you should look into that. Psych and the US exam are not too difficult but you might have a difficult teacher for those classes so be prepared. I would say I think your schedule is overwhelming and I do not think colleges will be impressed because you put on an overload for one semester that colleges do not look at as much as your first 3 years. Focus on colleges apps and having fun, do not try to impress schools, just be happy and be confident that your work throughout high school has been enough.
