how much is too much?

i emailed an admissions officer that came to my school for an info session
i emailed him to thank him and to ask anohter question.
if i have other questions druing the year, should i ask him again? and how many emails/how often is too much?

Actually someone at my info session asked this. They said do it like twice maybe thrice… make sure the adcoms don’t hate you aka don’t HARRASS THEM. They’ll utter your name in dread besides those are the people who will be READING YOUR APP. Do you really want them to hate you?

hahai was thinknig like once more in mid november..
and then once end dec/beginning january

that shoudlnt be too bad would it

and no they woulndt be BS questions. I’d probably just save honest questoins i had till then

Make sure it is a question that cannot be answered just from reading the website and/or using common sense.

I agree no more than 3 times throughout your application process. By attending the college info session and a couple of emails, you’ve already shown keen interests and more contacts without just cause only shows poor judgment.

Grahams, if it is a school like WUSTL or URochester that likes contact
the more e-mails the better for you (as long as you do not have trivial
questions)

Otherwise do some research online, talk to past grads from your school
etc and do not harass the admissions officers.

what about a more prestigious school?

top schools will file everything you send. The readers will glance at what
you have in your file. too much junk is asking for trouble since the pool
of applicants is huge and the time they can devote to your app is limited?
