i applied early december to DUS at university park and my status was changed about 2 weeks ago to “Your application is complete, all of your required materials are here, and we are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.” some people are finding back now but im am extremely nervous and anxious just like everyone else haha. can anyone tell me when they think i’d hear back? i was thinking like end of january

I applied around November 20 for biology. “A decision will be available here as soon as one is made” has been my status for the past few weeks.
…

My son has had that status for 3 months now!!!

yeah, same. this wait is killing me. PSU is my first choice and i really dont want to go to Temple if i dont get into university park. but one thing i do know is that i will find out before january 31st. :)

They can only hold out for a bit longer. Only 12 days left!

Yeah same I cant wait any longer I NEED to find out NOW! I have waited since October and still haven’t heard anything…my status has been “we are reviewing your credentials” for the past 4 months! I want to know but I am scared as well because january 31st is coming so soon! I reallllly do not want to get rejected I would be crushed and even though I got into Ohio State, which is my second choice, it still would’nt be the same…seeing as my whole family has gone to PSU! :/

i’ve been waiting for almost 5 months now… i just really hope this wait is worth it!!! going to u-park would be like a dream come true. not sure my chances are so good tho… 3.6 gpa and 1890 sat… but i heard that it was good that i put undecided and summer session. i’m just hoping for the best at this point.

@jed – no, you’ll probably hear back WAY later than that. we’re still in the november pool (those who completed their apps by the November 30th priority date) and those people will hear by January 31st. You’re in the second round, though I have absolutely no idea when that is lol

can someone repost the class of 2014 decisions thread from last years applicants? im trying to find it in the thread and keep missing it

pvjc13 - If the GPA is out of a 4.4 or less, those are actually pretty decent stats and are at the highest yellow on the bubble chart.

sorry to double post, but it seems like the bulk of the decisions/status changes came out around January 22nd-January 25th, though there were the few stragglers who seemed to change right around the end of the month and so didn’t have acceptances/rejections until February
hopefully not in that group lol I’m not sure if I can wait any longer… 4+ months is a long, agonizing time… LOL

I agree. Te decision seems so close yet it is so far! I have been waiting since early October, I can’t imagine those who are still waiting and applied in September. I hope that the waiting is a good sign for all of us!

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Bless everyone in this forum who is anxiously waiting to hear back from Penn state so that they are accepted, and accepted soon. thought i’d bring a little religion in here.

Amen! haha

So, I just realized that I applied on Nov. 30. Does that mean that I will know by Jan 31.?

My understanding is that as long as they have your application, payment, SAT/ACT scores and college transcript in their hands by 11/30, then you will hear by 1/31.

applied nov.1 ,same old status…Your application is complete, all of your required materials are here, and we are reviewing your credentials. A decision will be available here as soon as one is made.

I don’t know if it matters, but I’m out of state, LA, CA … Going for the architecture school

Finally - DD’s status changed today to “a decision will be posted here in the coming days”. Seems like that means she will know in the next couple of days, right?

Got the same “coming days” message exactly this week last year for our first son. If this is like last year, we can expect the decision next Tuesday.
