<p>I’m not sure when you will hear back. Probably by March. But he missed the Nov 30th deadline so he isn’t guaranteed to hear back by now. Sorry :(</p>
<p>Hi, i applied to psu altoona, my app was complete on December and i have checked my app status everyday, my status says your application has been received and is being reviewed, how long do i have to wait, it seems like ev everybody heard back already.</p>

<p>Thats odd. Id expect it to change sometime soon. I know this isnt the best advice for an anxious senior but trust me when I say the wait seems like forever but when Im sure youll get a status change soon if not a decision.</p>

No merit scholarships mentioned, but I hear scholarship/financial aid will come in mid-March?</p>
<p>hey a year later and another senior applying to penn state worrying about the application status haha.</p>
<p>i sent in my transcripts and SAT scores and the status has been stuck at “Your application and high school transcript have been received. Please continue to check your status” for more than a week now. does that mean my application is complete? because it does not tell me that it is but i know i sent everything in. I’m just super nervous because penn state UP is my top choice and i want me applying early to work in my advantage.</p>
<p>I know a lot of you have had experience with the status issues as it has been a year already haha so could anyone tell me if i’m just being impatient or if i should call/email admissions? thank you so much to anyone who replies!!</p>
<p>Be patient, it’s still very early. Your status will probably change in a few weeks. I remember my D going through this last year. It’s agonizing when you’re waiting. Good luck! By the way, my D is a freshman now and is 100% happy with her decision to attend Penn State.</p>

<p>Ummmmmmmmm I did terrible on both my ACT and SAT and I currently carry a 3.61 GPA at a top state school. I’m a bio major btw. So this is not correct at all for some if not many students. The SAT is just one test that you take on one day just like any other standardize test. IMO, they are poor evaluation tools.</p>
<p>When our son applied he sent his app in mid-November and his status showed accepted shortly before Christmas.</p>

i’m assuming college of engineering sends out acceptances a little later than others?</p>

<p>My daughter’s status changed today from “coming days” to accepted and she got a letter in today’s mail as well.</p>
