How much material is enough for SAT Subject tests?

I'm planning on taking 2, maybe 3, subject tests (Bio, US Hist, Math II). I have a couple questions, though.

What is the highest level of math on the Math II test?

Is the official Collegeboard book enough to study for it?

The same questions apply to Biology and US history.

I'm taking AP Biology and AP US right now. Should I be able to do well on the tests with these classes? I have the AMSCO and CliffsNotes books.

I'm preparing for the SAT, as well. Do you think I started preparing too late?

Much appreciated.

I was going to take the 3 tests you are, hahaha. I ended up just taking Bio M and Math 2 though (800 both). Lemme see if I can help…

-To my understanding, math II covers math up to pre-calculus
-I don’t know, I just hastily went through a Barron’s prep book the day before the test :frowning: but if you did well in pre-calc/higher math, you should be fine

For Bio and USH, AP level is sufficient to score perfect. For some reason, I found that SAT II Bio prep books are much shallower than AP Bio prep books… use your AP prep books to study for the SAT II, it worked fabulously for me :D

I didn’t take the USH but I heard that the SAT II USH test is quite different from the APUSH test (SAT II seems to be trickier).

No, you didn’t start too late, but if you’re taking the Bio/USH tests soon, they might be difficult for you since you didn’t finish the courses yet.

Good luck!

I took those three. Start studying immediately, there’s ton of information on all three of these subjects.
