How much math should I take in high school to be prepared for a business major. I'm a junior and have gone as far as Algebra II. Next semester I have trig/pre-calc and I will have calculus next year. I'm ok in math, not excellent, and I hope someone can tell me how much and what level of math is really necessary to be successful. Thanks!

You should be good at math. It's not necessary to take courses past Calculus II, but you should be comfortable dealing with numbers. Of course, the more skilled you are at math, the more fields in business that are open to you--in finance, for example.

From what I hear and know, you can do well in finance with Calculus I and algebra alone. But you probably can't be an actuary unless you go further.

how much econ do you need for business? i take micro right now and i hate it. Its a bunch of graphs that make absolutely no sense to be. mc mr avc atc, ***?
