How much money could I get for getting a perfect score on the SAT?

I'm thinking about applying to UIUC and I got a perfect score on the SAT. Since UIUC is a public school, could I expect a significant scholarship from the school itself? Am I in a position where several other programs can offer me scholarship money?

Thanks.

Best of Luck to OP & Go Bucks!! :)

UIUC has competitive scholarships up to full ride for in-state students. However, they are not purely based on stats - leadership, service, etc. are listed as criteria.

What did you score on the PSAT? If you make NMF you would get a full tuition scholarship.

You can see large scholarships that are purely stats-based here:
<a href=“Automatic Full Tuition / Full Ride Scholarships - Financial Aid and Scholarships - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/1348012-automatic-full-tuition-full-ride-scholarships.html</a></p>

I got a perfect score on the PSAT also.

With that PSAT score, you should make NMSF. Based on grades, essay, and school recommendation you could then advance to NMF. Those honors make you eligible for the automatic scholarships listed here:

As a NMF, you would also automatically get a full tuition scholarship at Illinois if you are in-state, in addition to being able to compete for the larger full ride scholarship there.

Alright thanks.
