how much money do you guys need?

Wait... are textbooks/lab materials considered to be financed with "spending" money?
If so, then add $250 to that $120 figure I originally provided.

I spend 80-100 a month.

i remember the good old days of junior high where i would spend 5 bucks a month. you know you are getting older when you suddenly have to spend more and more (clothes, rent, other bills, etc). i hear a lot of college students telling me that its wise to take advantage of all the low cost events on campus (2 dollar movies, etc).

Yes. And free movies, concerts, etc.

It only gets more expensive, yo. So yeah.

Allie you pay $800 a month in rent? Are you living by yourself?

Besides tuition (in state), I spend about $550 a month on rent, plus another $50 for utilities and another $200-250 on food and gas. Some beer spending is included in that 200 for food, usually a weekly beer purchase, but additional hard liquor/bar purchases may add another $50 or so. Books usually don't run more than $200 for me per quarter, club dues usually another $50 per. Besides that really I don't spend too much on things, just the occassional concert or night out bowling or new DVD, but I could easily get by with $100 per quarter personal spending.

No but I would like to so very, very much. I have a two bedroom which functions as a 3 bedroom (private dining room). Each person has own room. I pay $100 more than the girl with the other real bedroom because I get the parking space. 2050= 800+700+550(small room).

And oh god. $100 per QUARTER? I'd die.

/eta, oh- plus $200 for food. makes more sense. But still. I definitely spend more than $100 every month on personal, let alone every quarter.
//But just getting my hair done (once every four freaking months because gah) is $150. So yeah.

if you are a girl you will probably spend twice than if you are a guy....I can use the same outfit for a whole week (yes, I have done it before).....imagine how much you would save on laundry!

same outfit? at least change the top every other day man. hahaha, thats what i will probably do. my outfit: plaid/cargo shorts plus thermal on top during the fall and winter.

Lol. I do my laundry at home, because I don't trust the 150 year old machine at my building.

But yeah. Seriously, shampoo+conditioner+face soap+razors+other NECESSARY things is easily around $40 per trip to target, more or less depending on what you're out of or if it's your turn to buy paper towels or if the new international designer collection has anything you NEED (oh, target couture, how I <3 thee). I literally could not last on $100 every quarter. I'd be stealing my roommates' shampoo.

I'm guessing that allie is female.

Haha

O RLY?

lol flopsy

wow 1 outfit for a week................

YA RLY

NO WAI!!1!!one!!!

you haven't looked at this (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_rly%5B/url%5D">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_rly</a>) have you?

Lol, oh Wiki. So much useless trivia.

I love it.

My soon to be ex-boss likes to use "f/up" in short for follow up.

$300-$500 per quarter would be enough for me, maybe even less. That's more for going out than anything. I really just need jeans-undie-tshirt routine and I'm set.

Shampoo and toothpaste? That's what your roomate is for!

No way yo. I'm particular. I like what I like.

*Besides, we have absolutely no counter/cabinet/anything space in our 197 year old bathroom and so we keep all of our bathroomish stuff in our own rooms. It would make "borrowing" very difficult to pull off.

i hate it when people borrow bathroom stuff from me repeatedly. too bad at summer camps i always use my fellow campers stuff...hahaha
random: i love aquafresh toothpaste, i love the mint.

Lol wow.

That was incredibly random.

But dude...uh..I'm happy for you?
