I'm not talking about tuition and room and board, I'm talkin about groceries, shopping, going out and everything that wasn't included in your school fees, etc... I'm just wonderring if I'm the only guy spending 10,000$ a semester...

10k a semester? are you serious

I spend 50 a week on groceries (I live in an apartment). About 50 a month on my dogs (unless they need to see the vet), 50 a month on gas, and maybe another 50 a month on misc things, like going out or food. So about 350 a month. So about $1,400 a semester, after taking out for breaks (where my parents will buy my food).

10k seems a little high…

You’re spending 10k a semester? What do you DO, go to a fancy restaurant every day?

$10k is models and bottles territory…where do you go to school and what are you doing?

I spend maybe ~$1500 a semester on going out, clothes, and miscellaneous stuff (I think I’m overestimating though) and another $400 or so on flights.

Don’t hate, thread starter is a high roller for life

278/month in bill. rent, internet, insurance, phone, heat. $100 dollars for everything else/month. but i need to add in books…so about 2000 a semester

OP is just a bro livin’ the dream. Don’t hate.

$50/week max

last semester, spent probably 300 bucks max not including books.
nice thing about middle of nowhere is you don’t go out to eat much (if you do, it’s just when someone’s parents are visiting and they take kids and friends out for dinner), there isn’t a lot of shopping, so I’m not super tempted to spend much money, and the frat scene keeps alcohol costs low.
Spent most of my money on a trip to boston and over thanksgiving in nyc
but i’m pretty cheap haha

Almost $1000/semester. It mostly goes to gas, food not on my meal plan (groceries and eating out) and misc. spending money.
