<p>Trustee Scholarship </p>
<p>The Trustee Scholarship recognizes truly outstanding high school seniors with a four-year, full-tuition and certain mandatory fees merit award. Principals and headmasters of public and independent schools must nominate Trustee Scholar candidates, and accompanying materials, including application, must be submitted by December 1.</p>

<p>Merit Scholarships </p>
<p>University Scholarship
University Scholarships are awarded by the Board of Admissions to students with exceptional academic records. This four-year, half-tuition, renewable scholarship reflects Boston University's commitment to excellence in academic achievement. </p>

<p>Engineering Scholars
Engineering Scholarships are awarded by the Board of Admissions to students applying to the College of Engineering with exceptional academic records. This four-year, half-tuition, renewable scholarship reflects Boston University's commitment to excellence in academic achievement. </p>

<p>Boston High School Scholarship
As many as 58 four-year, full-tuition scholarships are awarded annually to Boston residents graduating from Boston Public Schools. Students with high academic merit and leadership ability are nominated by their schools for the scholarships. </p>

<p>Cardinal Medeiros Scholarship
This is a four-year, full-tuition award available to graduating seniors from parochial high schools in the Archdiocese of Boston. Recipients are nominated by their schools and chosen for their academic achievement, leadership ability, and community service. </p>

<p>National Scholars Award
This half-tuition scholarship is awarded to high school seniors selected as National Merit or National Achievement Program finalists and who have exceptionally strong academic records. To be eligible, National Merit finalists must designate Boston University as their first-choice college with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation no later than February 1, 2006. National Achievement finalists must send a copy of their Finalist letter to the following address by March 1, 2006: Victoria Natale, Scholarship Coordinator, 881 Commonwealth Avenue, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02215. Recipients are chosen by the Boston University Board of Admissions and by the Scholarship Committee. </p>

<p>National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP)
This half-tuition scholarship is awarded to National Hispanic Recognition Program finalists who have exceptionally strong academic records. To be eligible, NHRP Scholar Finalists must include their Finalist letter with their application for admission to Boston University. Recipients are chosen by the Boston University Board of Admissions and by the Scholarship Committee.</p>

<p>Deans' Scholarship
These $10,000 renewable tuition scholarships are awarded by the deans of each College or School to academically talented students who have little or no calculated financial need. To be considered, students must file the PROFILE and FAFSA by February 15, 2006. </p>

<p>Founders' Grant
Students with strong high school records who have applied for financial aid but demonstrate minimal calculated need may qualify for this renewable $5,000-a-year tuition grant. To be considered, students must file the PROFILE and FAFSA by February 15, 2006. </p>

<p>Methodist Clergy Scholarship
This half-tuition renewable scholarship is available to the sons and daughters of active, ordained Methodist ministers. </p>

<p>Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Boston University awards a half-tuition grant to transfer students who are outstanding leaders. Recipients must enroll as juniors at Boston University with a minimum of 60 transferable credits. Students also must have been nominated by a Phi Theta Kappa chapter advisor. Please note, this is only a two-year award. </p>
