Unless the EFC is actually a lot less than 15K, don’t know what the issue is. However every applicant is different so we don’t know the relative positioning of the three siblings, and even though the EFC was 0 for them, they may have been in a better position wrt the top schools. As we’re discussing on another thread, need blind should be taken with a grain of salt. The fact that half the students don’t get FA and 70% of students at top schools are upper middle income or higher, there’s some level of awareness going on.
