I've over heard some people on collegeconfidential say TAG admission is guarantee once a student completes the requirements. The Gpa is 3.2 which doesn't seem to be bery competative. My question here is, say I was to get a 3.2 fulfill the requirement for a certain major, am I really guaranteed an acceptance? From prior knowledge I know that there are oly two things certain (guarantee) in life, taxes and death. So does TAG really guarantee admission or is it just a boost?

A TAG is a guarantee, provided you meet all of the qualifications. If you do not meet the TAG’s qualifications, you’re not guaranteed admission. It’s that simple.

There are some students who got screwed by the system–bad information from counselors, that sort of thing–but at the end of the day, they didn’t meet the qualifications. If you do, it’s a guarantee, period.

Do note that a TAG guarantees admission to the university, though not necessarily admission to a specific major. If you’re not accepted to your major, you’ll need to choose a less competitive major, but you’re still accepted.

TAG does really guarantee your admission if you meet all the requirement!!

It’s a 50% guarantee.

Don’t confuse the poor guy/gal.
