<p>I've heard different things from people. Some say it is a good sign and others have said it doesn't mean much. I am interviewing with a consulting firm and have only had a first round interview. I know there are at least two rounds. I was told they'd get back to me in two weeks after my interview last week. I'm wondering if they are doing this with all candidates as another way to narrow down the field based on what they see in the background check. For the record this is a very competitive position and I know of at least one other candidate that got a background check request.</p>
