I've heard that it is a fairly easy class in terms of tests, ect. How heavy is the reading? Do you have to do it all?

depends on gsi, but I had to read the chapters because the class was pretty much solely from the text. Not that hard though, but don’t underestimate it and end with a B+ like I did. (or rather, don’t procrastinate until the last minute for every midterm and final)

I definitely agree it depends on the GSI. I took it last semester and did only the first reading which was about 5 pages. To study, I simply read the lecture notes a few hours before the tests and aced them easily. The textbook was a complete waste of money.

probably varies like the others have said, but i doubt you have to do all that much even for the most hardass of professors. it’s a really brief, shallow survey of psychology so they don’t expect you to know many details.
