Im taking the acts this month. Ive taken the sat's twice gotten 2210, 1550 out of 1600 and science is my best subject. is it that much different from the sats that i should buy a study book or something or am i already prepared enough? also what kind of score on the acts is analagous to my sat ones?

33 would be similar.
And if you're naturally gifted at science, I'd say the math and english parts are easier than on the sat, and the reading you just need to get the timing down. Maybe just one practice test from the act website will help you with the timing of both the science and reading sections.

Forget the 2210, the 1550 is all you need for College. That's like a 34 or a 35 on the ACT, and the English(writing counterpart) is so easy. If I were you, take ONE practice test to see your weaknesses, but you never know, the ACT might not be your best test, considering you already got 1550.

If you got a 1550/2210 on the SAT, then I would take one practice test for the ACT to be familiar with it. If you didn't get a good score on the ACT, then you should concentrate on the SAT and see if you can bring it up.

But, it looks like you have the upper hand because your SAT score is excellent.

ok. thank you all for your help. one other question, do i get to see my scores before i send them to colleges or is it like sats where you tell them who to send the scores to before you even take the test?
