How Much Should I Work in College?

I know this is dependent on my situation, but if I worked 2 hours a day I would have about $100 extra money each week for spending money after paying my car. Do you think this is good?... I work online for my job and get paid $15 an hour... should I go for more? I can work at any time of the day. What do you think/

Enough to keep the beer flowing.

Wait, my question is, what do you do that gets $15 an hour online? Are you the heir of a deposed Nigerian king seeking my bank account number to transfer untold quantities of frozen assets?

i write articles

Maybe online tutoring or something makes that much?
If I was making $15/hr online I’d probably do more than two hours a day.

I write articles too, but I don’t get paid for them! In fact, I usually get banned for them. I don’t get enough credit. I even saved someone’s life. True story. Ask DC Hurricane.

Why would you get paid by the hour to write articles?
I thought most people get paid based on how many and how good the articles are.

I also write online [Demand Studios FTW!], which is $15 per article. I usually make $45/hr, which is awesome and means I only really have to write for half an hour or an hour a week. [I only really spend money on bus passes and theatre tickets.] I say spend whatever free time you want on it to get some extra spending money for later. Then when you’re in a crunch for time, you’ll still have cash.

I do also, and there is no way you make 45 an hour working for them including rewrites and finding titles lol

I am so going to apply for a job at Demand Studios. I am going to be the next Charles Darwin.

I don’t count finding titles in that. :stuck_out_tongue: Finding titles usually entails me taking some of my free time, browsing [no idea for how long], and finding three titles to do another day. Their titles are just awful. However, once I have them picked out, I can easily write an article in 20 minutes, and all of my rewrites have been really minor, like rephrasing a sentence.

From an outline my English teacher (graduate of UC Berkeley; she took a seminar on how to succeed in college and wrote a small outline) gave me during my Senior year:
