I've really been wondering about how much hw some courses come with, and looking around on CC it looks like other people are too. So this should help with scheduling difficulties. Let's play a sad little game. Everybody post their schedule for this year, your grade level, and how much time you sleep. Preferably also how much time you spend a night on facebook, skype, watching TV, etc. along with some info about extracurriculars, to give us a more accurate picture. This should help us all out.

I'll go first:
Freshman.
Chinese
World History
English
PE
Molecular biology (aka honors biology)
Geometry
Studio Art.
I go to bed at about 10, and sleep for around 7-8 hours (late night reading...).
I use Skype practically daily, and this extends the time I do hw by about an hour.
I'm in a few service clubs and my high school's quiz team, but don't do any sports.

Anybody else wanna try this out?

School’s may have the same courses but the difficulty of the course will vary from school to school, even though the taught material is the same.

I spend 4-5 hours talking to my friends, 2-3 hours watching TV/Netflix/Youtube.
Then I go to sleep at 10, wake up at 5 to study and do homework.

Thus is the life of a senior #senioritis

I full-time dual enroll, so my schedule is a bit more flexible, but the classes are more difficult than the ones I had in high school so I spend a lot of time studying.

5 hours working around the house and on vehicles
<1 hour on social media, just enough time to read a few status updates

I probably get 7-9 hours of sleep on average, but I have to force myself to

My school has block scheduling so I only have 4 classes in a semester. I have all of my hardest classes this semester.

Honors Earth Science

Honors English 9
I’m taking College Computer Applications and Concepts (ITE 115) online because I plan to graduate high school and get my associates degree at the same time, so that I can start right off on my bachelors degree.
I am in a few clubs. Student Council (Secretary), Leo Club (President), and i’m on forensics (equivalent of Debate team), and I have Youth Group at my church every Wednesday
I usually have to stay after school for one of these or I go somewhere with friends. I generally do my homework whenever I get home from school(anywhere from 4 to 5, or 9 on Wednesdays) After, I finish my homework I will alternate between TV, Netflix, Skype, and Social Networks. I try to be in bed by 11 so that I can get 8 hours, but I usually get a minimum of 7 hours a night.

6-7 hours. 0-3 hours if there’s a chem test the next day (God, how I hate that class).

^Get more sleep before an exam. Study a few days in advance. It’ll help you out a lot, believe me. I had AP Chem myself and scored a 5 on the exam. Read and do all review work that you get handed, and if you need to supplement, read the book and do the exercises inside. If your book is bad, get a good college textbook. And most of all, find AP practice tests, take them, check your answers, and redo the wrong ones. It’s easy to do well if you just work hard.

I am an IB student and take 6 IB classes and 2 regular classes. I find out that it helps after you come home from school to sleep in bulk and wake up at 1-2 in the morning to do your homework, because I’m already so tired by the time I get home haha. If I don’t do that, I usually get like 4-5 hours, which is bad, but there have been times when projects and exams add up between my IB classes that oblige me to pull an all-nighter.

Theeeeen the rest of the night it’s watching tv/Internet videos while doing homework.
Leave the computer by 10 at the latest, usually asleep by 10:30
Work at least 10 hours on the weekends, generally more

Oh, and health and citizenship. But those don’t count because they are the jokiest classes ever
