<p>There are three categories for most schools:</p>
<p>Sure admits: this is a combination of GPA, SAT, SATIIs. These files get maybe 5 minutes each. These stats vary by: Athletic recruit, URM, developmental admit, sibling admit, etc.
Sure denials: GPA, SAT, SATIIs (the same categories above are used to create different cut-off points
Maybes: These are the files that are presented in committee after the first reader spends about 15 minutes absorbing everything and creating highlights to present to the committee. The committee discussion usually lasts about a minute.</p>
