<p>I know the living conditions will be a little cramped for freshman orientation, so how much luggage do you recommend that one person brings. I don't want to be hogging too much room with my luggage. And do most people take a backpack with them during the orientation events?</p>
<p>Take three or four pairs of pants or shorts, shirts, underwear, socks and a pair or two of shoes.</p>
<p>I'd bring a backpack or something similar if I were you. You get a folder filled with papers and a paper copy of the course bulletin and a bunch of crap, and it's just easier to keep all your stuff together with a backpack. Especially if it's raining, you don't want to have to carry papers by hand.</p>
