How much to study based off practice tests

Took the first Blue Book practice test recently and did very well, having only done a little review. I got 800 math, 740 cr, 710 writing, but I did notice that I only got 4 of 6 improving paragraphs questions right. I know this may seem like overkill at this point to study significantly more after getting a 2250 on a practice test, but from experience, was this an easy test and how do you think I could improve on the improving paragraph questions? Thanks.

The best way to improve is to go back and review… read why answers are right - both the ones you got right and wrong. Take more practice tests. When are you taking the SAT? Review grammar, review vocab. Even with the 800 on math, it’s important to not avoid reviewing this section as well… take more practice tests.

Nice place to start on your scores :-). Did you work within the time limits? That’s key.

That is very important! I dropped from an 800 to 700 because of overconfidence.

that is kind of an anomaly, for students improving paragraphs is usually easy.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I took it in a timed situation, but I would not bother waiting out a time limit if I finished ahead of time. I’m taking the test in March.
