Hi guys,

I got many, many ECs, hobbies and other things I want to tell the Admissions Commitee about. As I am an International Student with a "special" schooling system, have an extra intensive curriculum and also take a variety of extra courses, I already ended up writing 2 pages simply about my academical information.

Now, I got some quite exotic hobbies that I feel like have to be explained in detail. I am running a business, producing my own electronic parts, and am part of 3 developer teams. I started to write about all that, keeping it as concise as possible, but I think that I will easily write more than 5/6 pages if I include all the (IMO) important info. I tried to structure it, by asking possible questions like: "What is xxxxxxxx?"

Do you think 5-6 pages is too much? What is the general rule of thumb concerning the additional information? Any length regulations?

Also, I am planning to submit a booklet with technical information about my invention, which I am selling as part of my business. Do you think that is a good idea? No doubt, the normal person with no extensive knowledge of electronics and programming will probably not understand it, but I think that the UNIS I am applying to will have enough people with expertise in that area to evaluate my invention. Including many pictures (in that booklet), I want to showcase my development and the machine I built in my basement.

I hope you can help me there!

Best,
Mrmaster
