I am taking an honors chemistry class, but the teacher grades really hard. No matter how hard I study, I always do not-so-well. So far, I have a 93 in her class. How much will that affect my chances in college?

Geesus, the grade is bothering me. It's borderline B. A B+ at my school is a 92. Do you know what I can do to improve my grade in that class? I study for hours on end for her tests.

Otherwise, I'm ranked 1/205 with a GPA of 101.98 (with a 5% weight for honors classes).

shut up. you're fricken valedictorian with over 100 average. in most grade systems anything over a 90 is an A. it will not have a detrimental affect on college admissions. so be happy, you're still perfect.

Just a sidenote, has anyone else noticed an unusually high number of these types of posts lately? Are people trying to drive me to insanity by making these condescending posts?

What in the world are you worrying about? No one can tell you how to improve your grade, and even if they could, you're FINE. You're friggen valedictorian! Why are you even bringing it up? : (

You don't know how many people you're angering, *****ing like that. You seem to be one of those people who think you're entitled to a 100, but guess what, you've been proven otherwise. Get over it.

I think ccers need to chill out when they see these kind of threads. The OP was asking a legit question. From how his/her post sounds, it doesn't sound like he/she means to be condescending.
