I’m applying for Bio in some “top” not Ivy League schools (Umich, Washu). I took a course in General Bio at my local UNIVERSITY (not community college) and well… I got a C+. How much will this affect my application? I got all As in my school bio / science courses and have some decent biology related ECs. Can anyone give me some advice?

BUMP!!!
Please be patient and wait for answers. These boards are not fast enough to require bumping three times an hour.
@bodangles no!!! don’t tell me what to do!!! Haha just kidding. Okay I’ll patiently wait for the answers to come in.
This is a shot in the dark since you’re looking at schools I’m not that familiar with, but it seems like it would depend on how they (or your high school) weight that DE course.
For instance here in FL, at schools we’ve looked at, a DE course gets an added point - similar to AP. So essentially that C+ would be like a B+.
On the other hand, I would be nervous about it especially at competitive schools. That’s the risk/potential downside to DE.
Again, not super knowledgeable about either school. Is it possible your GC could help you consider the ramifications?
Nobody can give you an answer to this. These schools are holistic and this is one grade among many. if everything else in your application is strong it’s not going to matter that much.
