How much will being international hurt you?

I think the tendency for foreign admissions is to lump the students applying into continents. As in Euros, So. Americans, Latin Americans, and Asian students. So you would be the same advantage as other South Americans applying.
What sports are you good at? Have you spent time away from home before? Are you Full Paying or FA? How will you contribute to the overall community of the BD?

Hey guys ! I am a student at Choate (it's this school in CT)
And I would definately have to say that the spots for international are limited.. I am an international as well (Asian) and there are only about 5 other kids from the same country as mine ;) But I know schools like Exeter have a LOT of international Asians compared to Choate...
In terms of international schools.. I definitely think that coming from an international school helps. I am 100% (Asian country) citizen, went to local school there all of my life but I still got in.. which I think was just pure luck. THe rest of the International Asians were all from International school
Good luck with all of your appliations!
