Hey guys, I currently attend University at Buffalo and am pursuing a degree in Finance. I am starting my final year and due to bad decisions I made Freshman year to take Chemistry and other classes, I will most likely be graduating undergrad with a 2.8 maybe a 2.9 GPA. My experience includes managing and running my parents gas station business from the age of 16 and my roles in that establishment range from being a Sales Manager to Store Manager to now a Consultant. I am currently interning for Scottrade and plan to stay with them until May, my graduation date! My internship is going great btw! My question is regarding applying to the Grad program at UB and the minimum GPA required is a 3.0. I have not yet taken my GMAT either and I was wondering do you think I can get accepted if I get do really well on my GMAT (I really believe I can do well if I study my ass off)? My GPA isn't over a 3.0, however is my experience in the Finance field strong enough to get me in? Scottrade is one of the biggest firms in the country and interning for them is a big plus on my experience/resume. I can also get a couple of letters of recommendations aswell!
