Heyla.

So I just got back my December 2 SAT2 scores, and they weren't so nice. Literature 780, which was all well and good, but Latin 670.

A bit of context - my intended field of study is Linguistics, possibly with English/creative writing. My Latin and English courses fit this declaration: As in all of them for all 4 years, nothing but honors and AP classes, Latin Club, side job grading Latin tests, Latin tutor, National Latin Honor Society, you get the idea. And generally I test pretty well (800 verbal, 730 math, 710 writing) so this was . . . a bit of an unpleasant surprise. I didn't think I'd done that well, there was a lot of stuff I hadn't reviewed in a while on the test, but I was hoping for better than a 670.

I'm really nervous right now, because I know that score doesn't at all go with my whole presentation of Latin excellence (ha). The only place it's being sent to is Barnard. Please help: how much do you think it'll screw me over?

Thankya much.
