I mean, just hypothetically, what if I win a Siemens Semi on top of a 2400? Will that mean a lot, or just a little icing on the cake? Thanks for input.

how do i post my own thread?

^you just post the link, like this

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1177043-do-i-have-enough-good-ecs-ill-chance-back.html

And did you get a 2400 or is this all hypothetical?

given otherwise good stats it would significantly strengthen your application.

Curious though, if you are looking at siemens/semi how did you do at ISEF/JSHS? Where is your paper published?

If you didn’t win at major competitions with your project already (when given the chance) the probability that you will do well at Intel STS / Siemens is very low.

OK, to clarify, I’m currently doing research at an Ivy league university. I think I’ve made some progress on my project, and we’ll be collaborating with Stanford to finish the project. So it is POSSIBLE that I will get semi for siemens. As for my other stats, they are OK (if you care to look through my posts). Some leadership, and some so-so awards. Thanks again for inputs.
