I will be suspended for a very few days from school. How much will this hurt me as a senior?

ouch, depends on what the infraction was, although it will tarnish your record somewhat, regardless of the infraction.

It won't be included on my transcript. But, what I did was really bad. Should I tell colleges, even though nobody in my school would say anything?

depends on what kind of action you did. why did you get suspended? if you dont want to say it here, you can PM me.

same here... pm me too.. becuase my friend got suspended because he accidently overdossed his prescribed medicince, and the school thougt we was taking illegal drugs, and when they found out he was not taking illegal drugs they still suspended him for under the influence of drugs, which is the same if you have illegal drugs... and we are both seniors applying to college this year... and he told me that even though he is not a illegal drug user, and it was prescribed drug he accidently overdosed with, some colleges were giving him trouble about that.

what did you do? its CC- no one knows who u r in real life.. PM me im curious

pm me to please. id like to no.

It can't be that bad if you're going to be suspended for only a few days and it's not going on your transcript. Judging from that, I think it shouldn't jeopardize your chances very much.

I would recommend writing an explanation to the colleges about what you did and how you learned from the mistake. You should try to notify them before your high school does. I wouldn't be so sure that nobody in your HS will notify colleges.

why not ask your guidance counselor first if the colleges are going to be told?

My counselor said he won't say anything. He actually told me that it was up to me if I want to tell colleges.

What did you do? Alcohol related offenses aren't looked badly as much as honor offenses.

If your school won't tell the colleges anything, then definitely don't send them a letter on your own. They won't know, they don't need to know, and sending a letter about it will only hurt you.

If colleges know about suspension, will they rescind my admission?

It would be easier for us to help if you told us what you did, at least in general terms. It's impossible to predict how colleges will react without knowing some details of the reason for the suspension.

Honor violation, but I had no intention of doing it---I wasn't even aware or awake. I just can't remember doing it; nonetheless, I did it anyway.
