If you’ve taken the SAT, chances are that the Writing section was included in there. Just submit your SAT score - most colleges will accept either the SAT or the ACT, and they honestly have no preference for either test.

Ask Auburn, not a board of well meaning, but possibly uninformed anonymous strangers.

Auburn readily accepts either ACT with writing or SAT, so if you have SAT you have a valid score (unless you took it four years ago before writing was added). One thing you should do is get the application and all necessary materials in as fast as you can. Auburn has a modified form of rolling admissions (makes and sends notice of decisions in groups as apps are received; next group is those who apply by Dec 1, meaning getting everything in by then, and they will be notified mid-Dec; there have already been two groups who have received decisons so don’t wait any longer). Then, once admitted, you can submit housing application and housing requests are awarded in order housing applications received. For Auburn it is important to apply for housing as early as you can because it does not guarantee you will get housing on campus, runs out of space for dorms, and many who apply for housing late in the process don’t get any and find themselves scrambling for off-site apartements.
