<p>Im curious of how much UT austin will end up costing y'all. My brothers were both admitted to UT austin, one with amazing EC's, one not so much. Neither of them received much from UT austin despite my family EFC being slightly low. We live in Austin by the way. </p>
<p>Anyways how will UT austin cost you for room/board + tuition?</p>

<p>For me, if I go there next year, I expect it to cost me a little north of 20k.</p>
<p>Its costing me like 21k this year living on my own in west campus.</p>

<p>With scholarships I am not spending any of my own money to go to UT.</p>
<p>Without any scholarship money it would cost $16,000 for tuition, room and board, and books. Extra for things like spending money, eating out, booze, club dues, etc.</p>
<p>It is costing us around $25,000 per year (all costs included) for my son to attend. He's a sophomore now, living in west campus, but his costs haven't really changed from living in Towers last year.</p>
<p>being OOS and including housing and no financial aid, I'm paying about 38,000 for the year. i'm thinking about just skipping the check and mailing in my left arm instead.</p>
