How much would it help for a college to know if I am an AP Scholar with Distinction?

Basically, I completely forgot to mention it in my apps to extremely competative schools such as Cornell, Northwestern, Notre Dame, etc.

Would it be worth sending an updated resume to these schools containing my title of AP Scholar with Distinction or should I just let them figure it out on their own? After all, look at my AP scores and knowing the requirements, they would presumably know, right?

Input would be appreciated.

My understanding is that AP Scholar with Distinction is a ‘mechanical’ calculation – based purely on the number of tests you took, and the scores you received.

Given this, so long as you self reported your scores, I don’t think you have to report this. Presumably they will (1) know and (2) have experience in evaluating AP performance. So shouldn’t make a difference.

Congrats on the honor, though!!

It’s a given based on your test scores, don’t worry about it.

Not that big a deal. If you have good APs, you can self-report. All the really competitive schools have applicants loaded with APs.
