I’m looking to hopefully go to the School of Visual Arts in New York. I can’t seem to find anywhere if it costs extra to apply as an international student, though. I’m from Canada.

Where did you search? The Internet or this forum (college confidential)?
A simple Google search: “School of Visual Arts cost of attendance” gets you to…
It doesn’t cost extra to apply…and it doesn’t cost extra to attend. It’s a private college. Same costs for everyone.
You will have to complete a certificate of finances to demonstrate that you have sufficient funds at the ready in order to get your visa to study here.
