ehh..around how much do you need to score on the AP test ( i am takin bio) to get a 5 ...and is the test really hard..(for somebody who studied around 100 hrs for it, but has yet to study ecology, reproduction & plant control..)..

oo plz also for a 3
im just aiming for that cuz i know a 5 for me will be a miracle
yet to study: plants, review animal structure function behavior and reproduction, and the 12 labs
YIKES!

anybody?....o and ..does the test really go into THAT much detail, i mean like when studying from the textbook, i got the feeling that it just goes to far into useless stuff...o and (to the other guy) dont aim for a 3 aim for a 5, its not really that hard...

lol i just want a 3
ive been getting about 30/90 on the practice m/c questions >.< teacher doesnt teach very well

About 65% for a five, if I remember correctly. The test isn't very difficult, but I don't remember how much I studied for it last year.

yea kool 65% looks doable..now i am jus worried abt the essays...o and do they go into THAT much detail..like for things like reproduction and systems..o and chickenboi...dont give up hope yet..u can still get a 5..just like buy an AP book ..and like CRAM it ..it only takes...ehh....20 hrs? todo like perfectly (well i didnt do it yet..but i think thats how long it would take) .. i would reccomend cliff notes..(spend like 6 hrs a day these coming weekends and spend like at least 1-2hrs on weekdas.and u got urself a good 30-35hrs..which is more then enuff)

If the test isn't very difficult, why is it that less than 1/5 of those who take the test score 65% or better?

yea i know...thats what worries me..

Best approach: Answer as many as you can as well as you can. Guess the best you can on as many as you can. Only omit those with which you have no clue. No one knows what the percentage for a 5 will be until after this year's tests are scored. Don't worry about how many you did/did not answer/guess/fill in, as it has no meaning at this point. Your goal is to do better than everyone else taking the test, not answer a certain number correctly.

Of course, this is not the approach of most cc'ers. They like to spend a lot of time guessing on the "curve" and how many "wrong" will get you a 5, compared to how many they got wrong.

Notice that the cc approach, while entertaining and time-consuming, is not the best approach.

ok well i took a practice test a couple days ago
out of 119 questions (one of them was omitted) i got 55 right and 49 wrong
so what does that translate to?

I answer every question on the test if I know them all (which usually happens). If one throws up enough shots some will eventually land in the basket.
