<p>How does Wake send its RD decisions? Email or snail mail? </p>
<p>Also, the website says "by April 1." What's been your experience with that timing? Do they wait until the last minute (March 30 or 31)? Or send sometime during the "March 20's" ?</p>

<p>Last year they notified by regular mail. Letters were mailed around March 30 with some letters not received until April 4th.</p>

<p>Last year it appeared that acceptances went out first , and denies out last.
My D received her deny on Apr 4 , admissions would not give any decisions over the phone until April 5.We were also traveling.
For most applicants last year, Wake Forest decisions were the last to come in.</p>

<p>^^DB: never realized that; this year ALOT of schools are on vacation when decisions are coming out…!!</p>
<p>Son’s acceptance arrived in the mail last year on March 30th - large envelope. There was some issue last year where all of the acceptances arrived on March 30th - 31st and the denials arrived on April 1 - 2. Wake Forest claimed they were all mailed out the same day. It may have been that for some unknown reason, the large envelopes moved through the postal system faster than the small envelopes…but who knows!</p>
