Amazon orders, Facebook updates, school projects, volunteer work, weekly ads, job opportunities, and of course, friends and family all come through one simple and convenient place.

That doesn’t mean I check elsewhere, its just when something in my inbox pops up, I know where to check. If my email was hacked or just crashed… I would be utterly saddened since I literally have dozens of sites linking to that one account.

Its extremely convenient yet vital, since I have a volunteer/work email, a college email, a high school email, and my personal email. Forwarding them all to one place makes me less likely to forget to log in to one.

With the PC on, I open my email every 5-10 minutes, or its always open on a back tab. With my phone (no 3G), the first thing I do when there’s wi-fi is check my inbox. Then Facebook. You might think 10 times a day is unhealthy. Try 8 times per hour, 12 hours a day.

At least once per day. Our school sends the daily announcements to us, and sometimes there are excellent opportunities, which is why I try to check it as often as possible.

I’m applying to several different prep schools, so I have to check them at least twice a day. I try checking it as often as possible, sometimes on my mobile.

I check mine daily, mostly for college stuff and my other email for coupons and discounts at stores I shop at. I don’t really email anybody like friends or family though. All that is through text or facebook!
