How often do you have days where you do absolutely nothing?

all your friends are busy, theres no where to go, so you just sit at home all day

Yeahhh that happens to me sometimes. But I sometimes play tennis with my dad [lame, I know, but we love it] to pass the time, work on learning Arabic, try not to forget the years of Latin I’ve studied, do my summer reading, play piano, you know. Can sometimes turn out to be boring, but at least you didn’t do NOTHING.

And the ideal college applicant would say “of course not! I’m so involved in extracurriculars and self-studying AP exams and volunteering 10 hours a day that I NEVER do nothing!!” jalwkejfwl!!

I’m having one of those days right now.

The ideal college student doesn’t need to pad his resume with a bunch of meaningless junk! He or she would, however, pursue an internship or find work to help pay for college =)

I’ve been off since May 15… Orientation starts in late August, I guess?

I plan to do nothing, the vast majority of my days–and I have been.

Well, not really nothing… reading, video games, and television, that kind of nothing.

Quite frequently during the summer…that’s my plan for most of August (excluding volunteering and hanging out with friends some days).

It’s happening a lot during the summer…which is now. All of my friends are busy with their SAT prep and such, and I don’t really wanna bother them.

The days in which I do nothing are sort of bittersweet. I enjoy doing nothing but I feel guilty because I am not going out with my friends to play basketball or something. At the end of a day it feels like a wasted day. But boy do I enjoy wasting it.

Having one right now. Happens often during the summer, especially weekends. All my friends are either doing something or in a different state. And when my friends are around we have no idea what to do since I live in suburbia with nothing to do.

pretty much everyday lol

Same. I’m off to college in 30 some-odd days. I’m thoroughly enjoying my last summer before college begins.

rarely, my head wants to explode whenever I think of the things I must do…
speaking of which, I’m on CC…stuff is pilig up … NOOOOOOOOOOOO! ( XD )

word about that today. But then tonight I will go out with friends and get wasted so its all good

All the time, really.

I rarely have those days.

I almost always run in the morning, then do SAT stuff. The rest of the day is unplanned, I do whatever. Doing nothing for part of the day is healthy - it relaxes you.

During summer: 5/7 days.

During school: 1/7 days.

Yeah I feel bad too knowing that I wasted a day. I have so many things to work on it’s crazy. And the tough part is that I haven’t started on most of them yet, especially the essays.

I miss the days were summer means that we are suppose to waste our days away.

None, I wish I had some those, but life is just to busy.

ive been having quite a few of those days lately
orientation is next week so at least im busy then
usually i just read or watch anime or try to talk to people who are on as well
been waiting for my friends to pan some stuff so i can stop vegetating and get out of the house

I’ve been getting alot of those this summer which is rare. Normally I go to my aunt and uncles and help with yard work all summer, and then on weekends we raft and I learn to row. This summer I can’t make it up that way and I couldn’t pay for any camps, nor could I get a job because I don’t live within walking distance and I can’t legally get a liscences. (Long story there I won’t get into.) I’m pretty much stuck. Today I mangaged to have a church service project and the speech and debate car wash, so today I’ve been pretty busy. Normally I’m not.
