i doubt -1 is ever 800 for math

I got a -1 in math and a 790 last April. I have a friend who missed 1 and got a 770 on his different test date :(
For critical reading and writing, a -1 in each = 800 on my April test.
Guess I got the lucky curve

On math SATII's you can get about 10 wrong and still have an 800

no r1400sch you can get 5 wrong. its like getting an actual A 45/50 to get a 800

When I took the SAT, I missed 1 and got a 780 in Math.

I had the question and answer service for my october test, and I know that -1 was still an 800 for math, -2 was 770 (possibly 780) and -3 was 750.

hey guys, so you could get few wrong in the SAT II math and end up with 800?? how hard are the SAT II math tests?

the math isn't hard but I find the timing very difficult. but i think that's also because i like to check my answers thoroughly and there isn't really time to do that.

-2 was 780 dec last year

depends on which SAT 2 for math.....You can only miss 0-1 on Math 1 to get an 800, and 800's are more rare although the test is easier....for Math 2 you can miss more, something around 5 and still get an 800

Go to the bookstore/library & look at a Math2 SAT test book to get a feel for the questions. Math2 is precalc. If you've recently reviewed it or covered it, you'll have an easier time than kids who haven't learned it or covered it a long time ago. If you're one of those, you need to learn/review on your own.
