<p>I have math, chem, and bio ten minutes apart from each other. I was wondering if I would need to lug all these books around with me. I took some courses at a CC and some of the profs didn't want us to bring our book or we took notes all day...I'm hoping it's like that at UCI hehe</p>
<p>During my freshman year I never needed to bring books to lectures. We just sat down and took notes. For discussion however, they may ask for you to bring it for reference.</p>
<p>Probably never for any of those classes. Maybe for discussion for Bio but probably not Chem or Math.</p>

<p>I only brought around my books if I needed to study at the library or something. Don’t ever bring your books unless your professor specifically says that you have to.</p>
