HOw on earth can I find stats for successful applicants?

<p>Only a very few university websites have statistics on their successful applicants (GPA, GRE, etc.). Is there another place to get this info?</p>

<p>From what I've seen, most history departments are looking for students with GRE verbal around 700. Boston U says 628 was the 2005 average. Try the FAQ on department websites. </p>
