<p>Try Case Western, with your stats you should get very good merit aid. Also, if you are a National Merit Finalist or Scholar there are several school who would give you full ride e.g. U of Alabama, Arizona State, and many more.</p>

No, that’s not how it works. To decline ED due to inability to pay, you must qualify for FA first. By the fact you didn’t get a merit aid is not sufficient reason to decline ED. As mentioned by above poster, if you want merit aid from a school, ED is not the way to go.</p>
<p>^ My private college advisor told me to apply to Claremont McKenna early decision and apply for FA. I probably won’t qualify for much financial aid, but, I’ll try.

<p>Talk to your college advisor about withdrawing if you don’t get merit money – or your Guidance Counsellor. It may not be as easy as you think. There may be some notification of every school you apply to if you get in somewhere ED. Perhaps not. But at least check it out.</p>
