How powerful is UCLA TAP? (2019 Applicant)

Hey everybody, I know there’s already been transfer threads for UCLA this year but I wanted to break it down for TAP applicants specifically. Moreover, assessing the diverse GPAs and ECs that are TAP certified and chancing each other. Also feel free to comment any miracle TAP program stories or TAP acceptances in general! Given my situation, I do not have the best GPA but I am TAP certified with a respectable amount of EC’s/ essay quality. Could someone please assess my stats and provide an outlook on my chances of making UCLA as a transfer?

So here’s my stats!
TAP Certified
Major: Political Science (All Major prep complete)
Alt. major: Philosophy (All Major prep complete)
Aspiring Career: Lawyer
Race: Latino (Male)
GPA: 3.32 (significant upward grade trend)
Work experience: CC on-campus job (Campus tour guide/ front desk personell)
ECs: Political Science Club Officer, UC Irvine summer law program, volunteer hours within school departments/events, CC Honors program member
Accepted (so far) into: UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC Santa Cruz
Rejected: UC Berkeley
Waiting on: UCLA, UCSD, UCI
Essays: 7-8/10 rating

Given my underqualified GPA for Political Science (which is highly impacted), I know that it seems highly unlikely I would be able to get into that major. However, would my alternate major in philosophy be a possibility for me? From what I’ve been told, the TAP program has an 80% acceptance rate, however in respect to most students that are TAP certified having really high GPAs. But I’ve heard miracle stories about students with low GPAs getting into UCLA because of TAP. So with TAP, what are my chances being accepted into Political Science OR philosophy? Could my alt. major potentially save me?

Hi!
I am a transfer applicant with similar statistics as you. I have a 3.5 gpa and applied as a pre-sociology major and philosophy as my alternative. I have all the major requirements done for both majors. I was wondering if you were accepted to UCLA, UCSD, or UCI for philosophy as I am nervous after having submitted my app.
