I was just recently accepted into the Yale Young Global Scholars Program- Politics, Law and Economics session- as a sophomore. I was wondering how prestigious it is and how it would look for college admissions. I am very interested in attending the program and learning more about the topics being taught. According to the website, there was a 23% acceptance rate last year, 14.7 % US admission rate. The average SAT score was 2200, the average PSAT 206. Any input would be helpful!

bump

It’s clearly prestigious with that high of average scores and low acceptance rate. What kind of answer were you expecting? It will look good on your app but you shouldn’t do it for that.

I am not doing just for the college resume. I was wondering how it ranked compared to other summer programs such as RSI,M&TSI, etc. (which are clearly more prestigious)

Another PLE acceptee here interested in the same, so; bump…
