Hi, I am currently a senior living in california, but I am considering coming to the northeast for college. I want to be on the premed route and was strongly considering BU, but I have recently heard the university has grade deflation, and this has scared me off a bit...getting good grades as a premed is hard enough, I dont want to have an added minus sign shackling my performance. What's the low down?

i had the same fear about BU, but i posted on BU’s specific forum and from what i heard, its not that big of a deal because the Grad schools know about BU’s grading scale and that its tough, so we’ll be fine

The grade deflation is present enough to be well-known.

Although some med schools will take the curve into consideration, it still might be at risk at others. You never know.

Go with your gut on this one.
