How realistic is it to plan on many Mudd courses

My D, for the moment, is in love with physics and has not ruled out a career in engineering. She visited and adored Pomona (this was before she took physics). Her plan, were she to attend Pomona, might include numerous courses at Mudd in the sciences and engineering in particular (physics is offered at both schools). Does anyone know how easy it is to enroll in Mudds classes? Thanks so much.

Pomona has a great physics department offering courses to satisfy the most ambitious physics student. I remember the valedictorian of 2002 (the year my D graduated) was a physics major and she won many national awards, a testament to the physics department's strength. However, If your D wishes to enroll in Mudd classes, there will be no problem in cross registration at all.
A friend of my daughter was a computer science major at Pomona but took many upper division computer courses at Mudd. I never heard him complaining of any problems.

Many thanks CBreeze.

Hi
I'm first year pomona student
compsci and psych major
taking a course at mudd right now

there is no "difficulty" at all in enrolling in a mudd class or any claremont colleges class
im currently taking abnormal psych at pitzer

but the only limitation is that there are certain rules u have to abide by
first semester you have to enroll in all pomona courses

2nd semester you can have one outside course

soph year you can have half your courses outside pomona

certain classes are exempt from these limitations( such as comp sci)
which is why i can take philosophy and discrete math at pomona
have an outside course at pitzer and a comp sci course at mudd
