How reliable are the BB Tests 4-10? The Range ones

So I took #5 of the practice test in the blue book, but the problem is the score range it gives. My total score range is:

1890 - 2170

So the average is 2030.

For others who have taken this tests with score ranges, is 2030 a good idea of how I should score in the future? The range is fairly large...so I don't want this idea of a 2030 to skew what I will actually get.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, that is quite a range.

Conditions during the actual test can be very different from what you’re used to in practice exams. There’ll be more pressure, and there’ll be people scribbling two feet away from you on all sides, and there’ll be a proctor pacing the aisles. I did a lot better on the actual SAT than on my practice tests.

Practice, practice, and do your best. You won’t really know what you got until after you take the actual exam.

For tests 4-10, the middle of the range will give you relatively reliable critical reading and math scores. For the writing, assume below the middle of the range.

Yeah…the range is crazy…

@Lidusha, when you took the test, were the practice test you used from the Blue Book?

If so, you should have also taken the one with huge ranges. If so, how did the test with ranges compare to your final score?

@ATP, Oh okay that sounds good. Thanks for the input.
