I'm sure it varies, but should I be worried about applying to Georgetown because it's Jesuit? Or have most of the mainstream schools stopped making a big deal out of religion? Are there any mainstream schools that still require their students to go to chapel?

I go to Boston College, and the campus is somewhat religious, though you'd be more likely to have required prayer at West Point than you would at BC. At BC, the vast majority of the students are technically Roman Catholic, but less than 10% are actually practicing Catholics. So there's nothing to worry about if you're not the religious type. The only exception to the rule might be Notre Dame, where you're not allowed in the women's dorms past midnight during the week and like 2am on the weekends (parietals).

Ok thanks a lot. I'm actually looking at Boston College too, so it's great to hear that non-Catholics can have a good time there :]
