How religious is it?

My son is somewhere between agnostic and athiest. He has been accepted at Lynchburg but I wonder how much religion plays a part in the culture there. Can anyone comment on this?

Have you all seen the campus yet? My son also has been accepted but we haven’t had a chance to visit.

LC is not very religious at all. The city has a strong southern style religion ethic meaning Sunday morning it’s very smart to go out for breakfast before church lets out. LU kids will sit in Starbucks debating points in the Bible but they won’t bother you about it.

The campus is beautiful! It is well maintained and impressive. It is a relatively small campus.

Does anyone have a sense of how comfortable a Jewish student would feel there? Thanks!

Lynchburg has a pretty large Jewish community for a southern town. LC now will have an Hillel chapter.
