How religious is Seattle University?

How religious is the general student body, and how tolerant is the school of other religious beliefs? I’m considering attending Seattle U (I was accepted as a transfer student for the fall), but I’m worried that I’ll feel uncomfortable at the school because I’m an atheist.

Could any current students weigh in here? I’d really appreciate it!

I’m a parent of a senior at Seattle U. My daughter was not raised with any religion and she loves it there! It really doesn’t matter at all. If you have any other questions, please ask!

Hey! I’m not a current student but I know a little about Catholic schools. I’m an atheist but SU is pretty high up on my list, honestly. I go to a Catholic school right now and I don’t find much conflict. I know not a huge part of the student body at SU is actually Catholic. Also, from experience with my high school, religious courses are often pretty lenient so there will often be courses like philosophy or general spirituality you can take instead of religion courses.
